Easy Hacking Billy Bass with Arduino Tutorial How to Companion Video

Here’s a little tutorial video of how to hack Billy Bass – cutting out some unnecessary parts and code that everyone else seems to be using. I try to show enough of the principles behind it so you can apply it to most any animated toy with any input like Alexa or Siri or your karaoke machine.

I cover some details about reading audio signals with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi ADC (Analog to Digital Converter), and how to figure out what it what on a devices’ control board and use it instead of making or buying your own motor controller.  Simple is the name of the game. Thanks for checking it out and any feedback, good or bad!

This is a companion video to my breakdown post – You’ll learn the most if you check them both out.
